The Neighborhood at The '68 in San Antonio, Texas

DISCOVER THE HEMISFAIR HUB

So much history is ingrained in San Antonio, Texas. The Hemisfair neighborhood surrounds UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures and multiple historic landmarks. Both the Riverwalk and the Alamo are just minutes away. Hemisfair Tower was the main attraction at the 1968 World’s Fair and proudly deemed the Tower of America. All these landmarks reflect the independence of Texas – and still set it apart.

In addition to the Alamo, the Instituto Cultural de México maintains its Mexican heritage. The diversity and rich culture are what makes San Antonio such a lively melting pot. Now the area has infused its historical tapestry into the arts. La Villita Historic Arts Village is also in walking distance. The village is lined with traditional architecture, but filled with modern arts, dining, and shopping.
